Concrete is where Peter Scalamandre & Sons started, and it remains a capability we perform with our own forces rather than subcontract out. Our crews self-perform foundations, footings, pile caps, slabs on grade and on deck, cast-in-place structures, concrete paving, and structural elements from formwork through placement and finishing. Keeping this work in-house gives our project teams direct control over the critical path — the schedule doesn't depend on a subcontractor's manpower or a market that tightens without warning — and it gives owners a builder who understands the structure from the ground up on every project we take on, whether we're delivering it as prime, as design-builder, or as a concrete contractor to others.
